Another Christmas Card and Update

Good morning...

So first off I have another Christmas card to share

More ink blending and I even pulled out an embossing folder... I have lots of them but never really use any now but the swiss dots was always my favourite

Embossing with dies is becoming a favourite  with me lately and it's always a magic moment when using embossing powders but for me it's especially magical on vellum

Now to my MRI results, well thankfully it's not life threatening. I have 2 bulging discs in my lower back and a bulging muscle too which are all pressing on the sciatic nerve (and don't I know it) Lol!
My GP is fast tracking me to the MCAS at one of our hospitals and with a little luck I may be able to get treatment without surgery.

Thank you so much for all your kind wishes and caring thoughts

Have a beautiful day

Such a lovely, lovely card Ros! I just love the beautiful tree and deer against the crisp white embossed card layers...so striking!! And glad to hear you're finally getting some answers to what's causing the pain, and that hopefully something can be done sooner rather than later to allieviate that pain! Take care my friend!!

Light at the end of the tunnel--you'll get your life back, I'm sure! Another unique & gorgeous card, Ros--so much inspiration in this one! I really want to emboss with this kind of die, stamp on a tree die cut & use my vellum!

I love my embossing folders, but don't use them enough either. They're a beautiful way to dress up some white space without clutter. The Swiss dots are always a favorite. What a beautiful Christmas card! Love the gold embossing on vellum. So crisp and clean. Beautiful leaping deer, and the background you made with the white embossing -- WOW! Gosh, it's not great to have bulging discs and muscles pressing on your sciatic nerve, but good to know what the problem is and maybe get it fixed. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!
